Tuition Services
I teach 'A' Level maths, GCSE maths, and GCSE Further maths or Additional Maths. I also teach 11+, Grammar School entrance, Common Entrance, KS3, KS2 from age 9 and students seeking scholarships to private schools.

My hourly rate for one-to-one lessons is £78 per hour for GCSE. £70 for year 8 and below, and £85 per hour for A Level to include all online notes and practice exam papers. Currently I am teaching either online or face to face.

Missed lessons will be charged at the normal rate, unless 24 hours notice is given or there are exceptional circumstances.

With full 7 day a week support for all GCSE and A Level students via Whatsapp/phone/email I can give help with any topic regardless of whether it is something we have covered in the lesson. The enhanced support will give confidence to all students whether they attend a group lesson or a 1-to-1 session.

Call now for more information or to reserve your place for GCSE Foundation or Higher, or A level.
Lessons can be booked singly if you just need to revise for a specific test, or you can book a regular weekly slot. One-to one lessons are paid for weekly and there is no commitment to continue the following week unless this has already been agreed in advance.

Group lessons are paid for in blocks of 6 (half termly) and at just £210 per set are great value. We use blended learning with pre- and post-lesson study aids to enhance learning and maximise the outcome.

As the end of term approaches, now is the time to be thinking ahead to the 2025 summer exams. Having 1-to-1 lessons for a year can make a huge difference to the outcome in GCSEs and A Levels, with grades increased by at least one level.

Online Tuition
How it works.
How online tutoring works.
Online tuition works very well, and is really not any different to the student and tutor being in the same room. I use an online white board which the student logs in to where we can both see and write on the same screen.
Ideally the student needs
-
a Skype account or Zoom or Teams
-
a laptop with a screen
-
if possible, a graphics tablet eg Wacom Intuos, Trust Flex, or Huion for writing on the screen or Apple ipad and stylus
-
a laptop or phone with a camera (optional)
